ToolBasket is a collection of free web tools. We do not create accounts and we do not ask you to sign in. Each tool may process the inputs you submit in order to return a result.

YouTube Transcript

When you paste a YouTube link, we request the video’s public metadata and caption tracks from YouTube.

• The video ID or URL you submit
• Caption text returned by YouTube for that video

PDF Merge

PDF Merge runs entirely in your browser. PDF files you select are read and combined on your device. They are not uploaded to ToolBasket servers.

QR Code Maker

QR Code Maker runs entirely in your browser. The text or URL you enter is turned into a QR code on your device. It is not uploaded to ToolBasket servers.

PDF Split

PDF Split runs entirely in your browser. PDF files you select are read and split on your device. They are not uploaded to ToolBasket servers.

PDF Compress

PDF Compress runs entirely in your browser. PDF files you select are read and compressed on your device. They are not uploaded to ToolBasket servers.

What we store

Successful caption responses for YouTube Transcript may be cached briefly on the server to speed up repeat views. Cache entries expire automatically. Client-side tools such as PDF Merge, PDF Split, PDF Compress, and QR Code Maker do not send your files or text to us. We do not keep a personal archive of the content you process, and we do not sell data.

Third parties

YouTube Transcript requests go to YouTube for metadata and captions. Their policies apply to that traffic. PDF Merge, PDF Split, PDF Compress, and QR Code Maker do not call third-party APIs with your files or text.
